Canadian stocks turn higher, financials support
SAN FRANCISCO — Canadian stocks turned higher Thursday afternoon, led by gains in financial shares. The S&P/TSX Composite Index added 23 points, or 0.2%, to 11,719. Financial stocks supported the index, with shares of Manulife Financial Corp.
